Digital Photography (Age 12-15)

Digital cameras come loaded with features that can be confusing. Learn to use the most popular features in this hands-on class and then test out these options as we go outdoors and take photos. After we return, we'll check out our photos in the computer lab.

Have Fun With Your Camera

To make better images, simply photograph! Creativity is a discipline. Photographing daily, even one image, will change how you visually interpret. What surprises you? Makes you laugh? Think? We will look at photographers who break rules; who interpret light with elegance and people with grace; who have a recognizable style. Through assignments and daily personal photographing, you will discover your personal style and the joy of visual expression. All cameras are welcome, even cell phones cameras. No experience needed, just the desire to express yourself as you have never done before.
